Why GPSA / Waarom GPSA
Leaving a footprint of faith to be followed
Having been blessed with grandkids, made us wonder about our role as grandparents
in their lives. On this journey we came across God’s thoughts about this. We were met with surprising Biblical moments where we could learn about God’s intention for Grandparents.
We also contacted partners around the globe who were on the same journey.
On our journey we are looking for God’s footprints and we are following His directions for our lives. Doing so, we wish to intentionally leave footprints of faith for the coming generations.
Laat ‘n geloof spoor, wat gevolg kan word, na
Geseënd met kleinkinders het ons laat nadink oor ons rol as Oupa en Ouma, in hul lewens.
Dit het ons op ‘n reis geneem waartydens ons God se gedagtes hieroor begin raaksien het. Verrassende Bybelse momente, waar ons God se bedoeling met Oupas en Oumas kon leer ken, het gevolg. Ons kon ook kontak maak met vennote regoor die wêreld, wat met dieselfde reis besig is. Op ons reis soek ons na God se spore en ons volg Hom in die pad wat Hy vir ons lewens
aanwys. Terwyl ons daarmee besig is, laat ons doelbewus spore van geloof agter,
vir die komende generasies.
Who Are We / Wie is Ons
Christo & Hannatjie Jansen van Vuuren
We have been happily married for more than 4 decades and have been blessed with 2 sons, 2 daughters as well as
2 sons-in-law and 2 daughters-in-law.
We have also been blessed with 10 beautiful grandchildren.
Christo was a pastor in a suburban congregation in Centurion, South Africa, for 38 years of which the last 11 years were focussed on family ministry. Since retirement in 2020, we are still involved in ministry, focussing on grandparents to encourage them to leave a legacy of faith.

Ons is vir meer as 4 dekades gelukkig getroud en geseën met 2 seuns, 2 dogters, 2 skoonseuns en 2 skoondogters
Ons is ook geseën met 10 pragtige kleinkinders.
Ons was vir 38 jaar die leraarspaar van ‘n voorstedelike gemeente in Centurion. Die laaste 11 jaar is gefokus op gesinsbediening. Sedert aftrede in 2020, fokus ons bediening op Oupas en Oumas, om hulle aan te moedig om doelgerig ‘n spoor van geloof na te laat.
